Percival Everett's novel James on short lists for the Booker Prize and National Book Award

James, a novel by Brown alumnus Percival Everett (AM, 1982), has been placed on the six-author shortlist by the judges for the 2024 Booker Prize – the winner will be announced on 12 November. James has also been selected as a finalist for the National Book Award; the winner will be announced on 20 November.
