Princeton University's Program in American Studies is hosting novelist Karan Mahajan (Brown University) and poet Jenny Xie (Lewis Center for the Arts) on October 29 at 7:30 p.m. via Zoom.  Karan Mahajan is the author of Family Planning, a finalist for the International Dylan Thomas Prize, and The Association of Small Bombs, which was shortlisted for the 2016 National Book Award and won the 2017 Young Lions Fiction Award from the New York Public Library. He is an assistant professor at Brown University. Jenny Xie is the author of Eye Level, a finalist for the National Book Award in Poetry and the PEN Open Book Award, and recipient of the Walt Whitman Award from the Academy of American Poets.
