The Department of Literary Arts and the International Writers Project are pleased to welcome Cuban fiction writer Orlando Luis Pardo Lazo to Providence.  Recipient of the International Writers Project Fellowship for 2014 – 15, Pardo Lazo will be in residence at Brown through February.

 The IWP Fellowship provides a stipend and working space to writers who have been subjected to political harassment, censorship, and imprisonment in their homelands because of their writing or political activism.
