Trevor Joyce is the author of eleven volumes of poetry, including, most recently, with the first dream of fire they hunt the cold and the forthcoming What’s In Store. He is the co-founder of Dublin’s New Writers Press, Ireland’s first publisher of innovative poetry, and co-founder and director of SoundEye: The Cork International Poetry Festival, an annual celebration of the arts. He is a former Fulbright Scholar and is a member of Aosdána, the honorary affiliation of Irish creative artists. His work has been described as being multi-dimensional, deeply Irish, and profoundly contemporary in its enjoyment of games, systems and constraints.
