Marisol Limon Martinez is a writer, musician, and visual artist who grew up in San Antonio, Texas. She is the author of two books, After You, Dearest Language, and the novella First Space, Then Structures. Her first artist’s book, Forgotten Knowledge, is now in collections at the Museum of Modern Art, Yale University, and the University of Texas at Austin. A former faculty member at the Spence School and Parsons, Ms. Martinez has been the recipient of many grants, including a National Endowment of the Arts grant and a Ford Foundation Fellowship in Performing Arts. She currently tours internationally as a pianist with the singer Scott Matthew. She lives in New York.
