Lance Olsen is the author of more than two dozen books of and about innovative writing, including the recent novel Dreamlives of Debris. His next novel, My Red Heaven, is forthcoming in January 2020. His short stories, essays and reviews have appeared in hundreds of journals and anthologies. He has received a Guggenheim fellowship, the Berlin Prize, a DAAD Artist-in-Residence (Berlin), an NEA fellowship and a Fulbright Scholarship; Olsen teaches experimental narrative theory and practice at the University of Utah, where he directs the creative writing program.
