Jen Bervin is a visual artist and poet whose interdisciplinary works weave together situated poetics and entangled relationships between text and textiles. Her research-driven works frequently result from long-term collaborations with specialists ranging from literary scholars to material scientists. The subject of a new survey monograph publication Jen Bervin: Shift Rotate Reflect, Selected Works, Bervin has authored a dozen books, most often in conjunction with Granary Books. Her art is represented by Catharine Clark Gallery and has been exhibited at venues such as the Walker Art Center and The Morgan Library and Museum; works can be found in more than sixty international collections, including Bibliothèque Nationale de France and The J. Paul Getty Museum. Bervin is currently a fellow at Beinecke Rare Book and Manuscript Library and Houghton Library at Harvard University.
