Aditi Machado is a poet and translator from Bangalore, India. Her poetry collections include Emporium (2020, James Laughlin Award) and Some Beheadings (2017, The Believer Poetry Award), both published by Nightboat Books. Machado’s writing has been published in journals like The Chicago Review, Lana Turner, The Rumpus, Volt, and Western Humanities Review, as well as in chapbook form. Her essay, The End, will appear as part of Ugly Duckling Presse’s pamphlet series later this year. She works as an Assistant Professor of Poetry at the University of Cincinnati.
