
Cheyenne Mann
Biography
Cheyenne Mann is an experimental surrealist fiction writer from Iowa. They’re a two-time winner of the Iowa Chapbook Prize, the recipient of the 2025 Robert Coover Prize in Fiction, and a semi-finalist in the 2025 Writers of the Future Contest. Their work is forthcoming in Gulf Coast, Chestnut Review, and Cosmic Horror Monthly. Cheyenne’s prose engages with fragmentation, modularity, animism, the body, earnest absurdity, scrambling the linear, and unconventional use of name. They are on instagram @cheyennewrites. When they’re not napping, you can find them getting knocked over by waves at the beach, or getting knocked over by their teammates at rugby practice. Cheyenne currently lives in Providence, RI, with their cat Fig. They are an MFA candidate in fiction at Brown University.
