Congratulations to Laird Hunt, professor of Literary Arts, who is among the 46 writers who have been selected for the long list for the Carnegie Medal for Excellence, as organized by the American Library Association. Those determined as the short list for the medals will be announced on 12 November, and recipients of the medals will be announced in January 2025.

Laird Hunt was nominated for his new book, Float Up, Sing Down, published by Bloomsbury.
