Peter Straub

Novelist Peter Straub has been described as “one of the most commercially (and critically) successful genre writers of the past thirty years.” Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Straub is the author of 17 novels, as well as of collections of both short stories and poetry, including the well-known horror novels JuliaIf You Could See Me Now,  Ghost Story, and Shadowland. More recent novels include In The Night Room and Lost Boy Lost Girl. In 2002, Straub was guest editor of Conjunctions 39: The New Wave Fabulists, featuring innovative, cross-genre science fiction, fantasy, and horror.
