Farid Matuk is the author of the poetry collections This Is a Nice Neighborhood and The Real Horse. He teaches on the MFA faculty at the University of Arizona and serves on the editorial teams for FENCE magazine and the book series Research in Creative Writing. Matuk’s work has been supported most recently by residencies and grants from The Headlands Center for the Arts, the Lannan Foundation, and UC Berkeley's Holloway Visiting Professorship in Poetry & Poetics. Redolent, a book-arts project made in collaboration with Colombian visual artist Nancy Friedemann-Sánchez, is forthcoming from Singing Saw Press.
