Erin Reese Alexander
Biography
Erin Reese Alexander is a writer from Birmingham, Alabama. Her short stories, poetry, and essays have appeared in Flash Fiction Magazine, Voices & Visions, Folio, Quarto, Laurel Moon, 4×4, and elsewhere. For her writing, Reese was awarded the 2025 Howard M. Teichmann Prize and the 2024 Helen Marie Carlson Prize. She graduated cum laude from Barnard College in 2025, where she studied English literature. Currently, Reese is pursuing her MFA in Literary Arts at Brown University.
