The Guggenheim Foundation has released its list of 2024 fellows and among those recognized in fiction is Laird Hunt. Laird Hunt's latest book is Float Up, Sing Down, out from Bloomsbury Publishing. Hunt is a professor of Literary Arts at Brown University. The fellowship will enable Hunt to focus on his writing. Hunt is one of two Brown faculty members to receive Guggenheim Fellowships this year.
